Work in Canada

Canada is always keen on hiring foreign workers and professionals to help benefit its economy and workforce. Foreign Workers can be permanent or temporary.

We can help you apply for a Work Permit through various streams, may it be a Provincial Nominee Program or through the Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)

Post Graduate Work Permits (PGWP):

If you are a student in Canada you may be eligible for a Post Graduate Work Permit for up to 3 years. This is a great opportunity for you to enhance your skills and get Canadian work experience. This also helps build a strong profile for Permanent Residency in Canada. PGWP are also Open Work Permits which allows you to work in Canada for any organization without the need of the LMIA, PNP or any other streams approvals.

Open Work Permit:

An open work permit allows you to work in Canada for any organization for a period of time. If you are a student or a foreign worker, your foreign spouse or common-law partner may be eligible to apply for an Open Work permit, which allows him/her to work fulltime in Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity for spouses to work in Canada. Best of all, no job offer, LMIA or PNP nomination is required. You can apply for an Open Work Permit if you are:

•The spouse or common-law partner of temporary foreign worker or

•The spouse or common-law partner of foreign student or

•International student who graduated from Canadian post-secondary facility

LABOUR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT (LMIA):

If you are working for an Employer, your Employer may be eligible to apply for LMIA depending on several different factors. The Employer must demonstrate the fact that the foreign employee will have a positive or neutral effect on Canadian Society to Canadian government inspector who will review an application. Most of all, there should be specific reason why employer must hire the foreign worker not qualified Canadians. And it must be clear too that the foreign employee will get a salary and benefits within a range of federal and provincial standards.

The LMIA process is different relying on wage that the foreign workers will receive. So, the provisions will apply individually depending on whether high-wage or low-wage.
